Description
Even though the HyperLite Helmet is so light that players will forget they even have it on, the innovative FreeForm Adjustment System ensures a near-perfect fit regardless of head shape. With independent front-to-back and side-to-side adjustments, the oval-headed and narrow-headed players can quickly dial in the ideal fit in seconds without needing any tools.
In terms of protection, the Bauer HyperLite boasts elite impact protection that is right on par with the previous RE-AKT 150, just 20% lighter. The brunt of the protection comes from the new ShockLite Foams that provide a wide range of impact absorption but in a feather-light package. Bauer then used Poron Smart Foam in very strategic key impact zones for further coverage while the extra-plush comfort padding keeps the helmet comfortably locked into place all game long.
The Bauer HyperLite Hockey Helmet is compatible with the majority of certified visors, cages and shields; but we do recommend the Bauer RE-AKT Titanium Cage. This is the lightest hockey cage on the market and keeps the caged combo as featherlight as possible.
